Using Sakai

Sakai is OHSU's web-based Collaboration and Learning Environment that enables participants to post messages, share calendars and resources, and to collaborate on documents.  “TIES Teachers” is the name of the project for teachers participating in TIES.

To log in to Sakai, go to http://sakai.ohsu.edu/osp-portal, type in your login name (your e-mail address) and the password given to you by Sakai.  After logging in for the first time, please change your password by clicking on “Account” (navigation on the left; in the “My Account” bubble) on your home page.  Click on the “Modify Details” button, type in your new password, then verify by typing it again.  Then scroll down to click on “Update Details”.  Your new password will be active immediately.

To access the TIES Teachers project, click on “My Projects” in the top left hand of your homepage and select “TIES Teachers”.   You can post announcements, send messages to all of the participants and share and access resources.
